Sun, I think this is what she wrote for you.
This is the only email of hers I read since the "Chinese Climber" caught my eyes. I thought she was a he at the time.
This is what she said before:
"The way they lived is a constant reminder to me to never be complacent, to do everything with heart, to pursue the most intense and meaningful experiences possible, and to be awake and alive for all of it. "

Hi,
July 4th is a crazy weekend to be in Yose but maybe it will be better up in Tuolumne? I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in helping out with at least one Chinese climber here in Yosemite this week (July 1-6), whose "dream it is to climb in Yosemite". He says he feels comfortable leading 5.10 trad and has spent a good amount of time in Chamonix, and is one of the first Chinese guides to bring Chinese clientele up the seven summits (he's already been in Indonesia and Alaska guiding this year). So he's probably got some pretty good stories to tell, aside from being an interesting climbing partner.
If you'd like to help introduce our climbing mecca to one of the few Chinese people able to make it to Yosemite, maybe get on some of the classics, please let me know! If you have a rack that would be great, although I also have gear I could contribute (he's got a rope).
My number is 619 519 5745, please call/text. He appreciates any help! If you know of anyone who would be interested as well... and hearing about the climbing scene in China... please pass on the word.
Thanks,
Chris |
